Aubree's Dance Recital

Today we had Aubree's dance recital.  Everyone works so hard all year long practicing and perfecting their dance.....and it shows.  So much excitement and enthusiasm by everyone performing.  Erin and all the instructors do a fantastic job working with each of them to help them achieve their best.  It was a great show and this Nana and Papa were so proud!  A couple of weeks ago we decided to do a photoshoot with her dance costume on and these are some of my favorite shots of the day.    Great job to all the dancers.  Can't wait till next year's dance season...But, next ....on to soccer season!

Such a Sweet Baby Girl!

Today I went to visit a new family at the hospital.  Mandi and Nathan had a beautiful baby girl yesterday morning.....Ella Marie.  She is such a sweet baby.  Of course I had my camera and we did a "mini photoshoot".  These are pics I took in the hospital today.  She is one day old and already you can tell she has stolen everyones hearts.  Congrats to all of you and God Bless your new family.   She is such a sweetheart....and don't forget.....this Nana will babysit any time the other Nana is busy!

Celebr8 & Sk8 - Stevens Point

On Saturday I went to photograph the Celebr8 & Sk8 Event in Stevens Point.  It is an event where children and young adults skate to music.  They range in age from 3 through Seniors in high school.  My cousin's daughter has been skating nearly her entirely life.....and it shows.  Most of these pics are of her.  This was her final skating event and she did an awesome job.  It was a lot of fun to see all of them skating. (For the mom who was in the row below where I was shooting - if you want copies of your daughters pics, please send me a message on my email and I will be happy to get them to you - I included a copy of one of them in this group.)  Congrats Cheyenne....you did a great job and we were all very proud of you!

Just a Couple.....

Just  a couple of pics from today.  I had so much fun in Stevens Point with family.  Took lots of  pics of this beautiful girl skating in her final event.  After the event we went for pizza and took a few minutes for just a couple of pics on the street while waiting for the pizza to arrive.  Thanks for a great day!  Tomorrow I will share a bunch of skating pics and even a few prom pics........

Something a little different.....

The other day when I went to Stevens Point to have my "play date" with two wonderful photographers we walked around downtown and took a few shots.  There are several murals on walls and this was one of my favorties.  Not sure why.....but I really like it.  I love the stone on the exterior of this building too.....and the way the light was hitting the top of the mural.

Ms Hollywood!

The other day I spent the evening with a couple of friends playing with our cameras.  Here is one of the shots from the day.  Doesn't Marie look like she belongs in Hollywood!  We had such a good time and I really needed some play  time with my new camera and lense.  I will post some more later tonight.  Thanks Marie and Heather for a fun time.
