Sneak Peek - A wonderful wedding

A few sneak peeks from yesterday's wedding.  A little windy but, a beautiful day.  I enjoyed spending time with a couple that are so much in love.  So many beautiful pics from a wonderful couple.  Congratulations you two.  I wish you many years of happiness!

A Little Surprise.....

Over the past week or so, I have been busy, busy, busy......having so much fun taking pics.  But.....I can't show you all of the fun I have been having.  Some of the sessions have been surprises for events, etc. so you will be seeing some on them in the weeks to come (after they are given as gifts, etc)   That is what this session was.  Ella was baptised today and her Godmother wanted to have pics taken of her as a gift for her parents.  So, with the help of her Nana and Papa, we had a fun session last Sunday while the mommy and daddy were at the class for the baptism (how sneaky is that????)  As soon as mommy and daddy dropped off Ella at Nana and Papa's house, they hopped in the car and brought her to my studio for pics.  We nearly got caught when mommy called during the session to check on her little girl and Nana had left her cell phone in the car....oops!  But, luckily she got papa to answer and nana called her right back and lied, lied, lied - but all for a good cause!  In any event.....we had a wonderful time and taking pics of this beautiful little girl was so much fun.  God Bless you Ella....and your entire family.

A Bunch More.....

Ok......I know this is a bunch more but, I loved so many of them that I couldn't decide.  I had a difficult time narrowing it down to these.  There were so many more and I may even sneak one or two more in over the next week.  This was such a fun session and Hailey is so full of energy and excitement.  I love this job!!!!

Just One....

The other day I had the pleasure of taking photos of this beautiful girl.  She is America's US Miss Wisconsin Tween 2010 and is going to compete at Nationals in a few weeks.  We took several photos and I will be editing many but, wanted to share one tonight.  She is such a beautiful girl and has a fantastic personality - what a wonderful combination - I as sure she will go far!  Good Luck Hailey!  You already have my vote!

Talking to her mom and seeing Hailey was such a treat.  So often I have heard about "pageant kids" and it just isn't true.  What I saw was a very well-rounded, happy, down-to-earth young lady.  She was polite and a joy to work with.  Can't wait to finish editing this batch and for our next session.......

Sneak Peek....

Isn't she sweet!!!  I was so lucky to be able to take a few photos of this special family.  She is the sweetest little girl and has the most awesome eyes.  I have lots more but, just had to share a few.  I have been taking so many pics over the past several weeks and haven't had time to share.  Over the next few days/weeks I will have lots to show you.  I may even have to show you a few more of this sweetheart..........  Don't you just want to kiss those cheeks!!!

Sorry I haven't posted more pics but.....there is just too much to do here -- lay on the beach, eat, float in the water, eat, search for seashells, eat, lay on the beach -- you get the picture.  (And, I found one flaw with where we are staying - no high speed internet.  It takes forever to upload a pic)  So, for now, here is one to hold you over.  This was of the sunset on the first night we were here.  The sunsets are amazing here.

Not your typical island pic....

So this is not your typical pic of an island vacation.  But, tonight when we came back to our cottage, there were people sitting on the docks in the dark fishing.  There was one light on the cottage next to us that was providing the light for this pic.  I love this shot and had to share.  I will be posting a few pics over the next week or so.  I am looking for feedback....  The place we are staying is having a photo contest for guests who stay here over the next three months.  The first place prize is a 5 night stay....I want that prize!  Anyway, like I said, this is not a "typical" beach photo, but, I love it.  As always, I love to hear your comments....
