Florida Everglades

One of the days we were in Florida, we decided to take an airboat ride.  What an awesome experience.  We saw lots of wildlife (Florida wildlife) which I will post on my Emmerichs Events blog later this evening.  Some photos from the airboat as we were traveling through the reeds and across the water.  The "lake" was huge however, the driver of our airboat said that most of the water was only a couple feet deep.  You would never know it by what you saw.  Beautiful sites of Florida, not the typical pics of the theme parks that I will be sharing later in the week.

A Few Beach Pics

I love this pic I took of a bird on the beach.  I love how sharp the bird and sand right under the bird is and the "blur" or bokeh in the foreground and background of the photo.  As you all know, I am a fan of bokeh.

A couple of my other favorites from the beach.  As you can imagine I took hundreds (ok, thousands) of pics.  Over the next couple of weeks I will be sharing some of my favorites on my "Photos" blog and several of the more general pics and stories on my Emmerichs Events blog.  Hope you enjoy them.  As always....we love comments so if you have a favorite or would like to comment, please do either on here or on Facebook.

Maternity Pics

Last week I had a fun maternity session that I wanted to share a few of my favorite photos with you.  There are so many that are just beautiful and I had a difficult time picking my favorites.  I know the new mommy-to-be was having a difficult time too!  I can't wait to meet this sweet little baby and have a fun newborn photo shoot with him or her.  Oh, I am sure picking those pics will be even more difficult.

Jenn and Chad

Here are a "few" photos from our photoshoot today.  Obviously, I couldn't decide which were my favorites, so I posted lots of them.  Again,  a few collages in addition to a few other "techniques".  As usual...I love comments so let me know what you think.

Aubree's Birthday

Today is Aubree's 6th Birthday.  I cannot believe that she is 6 already.  It seems like I was just in the room with Heather when she was born.  That time goes so fast and she is growing up so quickly.  Tonite as we were at Happy Joes having pizza, she was telling us about a boy in school.  She told Heather when she got ready for school this morning that this one boy in her class was really going to like her dress.  She said one other day when she was all dressed up for school and she walked in the classroom, he saw her and said "Whoa".  She is only 6.....boys aren't supposed to notice that stuff yet.

Since I don't have my camera back yet (but, they did call and it is in.  I will have it tomorrow.....woot woot.)  I decided to post a photo that I had taken during her Christmas photo shoot.  I had a small version of it in the collage I did earlier, but I love this picture and thought it was worth a look at a full size version.  Happy Birthday Sweetheart.... We Love You!!!

Photoshop Fun

Well, the reason I haven't posted in a day or two is......my camera is at the "doctor".  I was having a couple of issues and needed to send it in for some minor repairs and adjustments.  I FEEL NAKED..... ALONE..... SAD.... OK, I  have a few issues.  So, to keep me busy during my time "alone" I have been resorting to some older photos that I have been playing with on photoshop.  My camera should be back in a few days, until then, I do have enough photos to finish editing.  But, I do want to take more.  Today, we had to run to Eau Claire and I must have said 20 times, "Oh, I wish I had my camera".  It was a beautiful, frosty morning.  With the sun shining on the frost, it just sparkled....such photo opportunities.  The very first day that it was gone, I was out and about on my way to an inspection and saw a wolf close to the road on a field.....No Camera!  UGH!!!  Such missed opportunities.  It is amazing how I have come to always rely on having my camera by my side.  Until its return, here are a couple of pics I had in my files that I did some photoshopping to. I know family members have this pic of Ken and Rita in the calendar, however, I have had a couple of requests for a copy that can be framed.  If anyone needs a copy, just let me know what size and I will get it to you.
